Service Technicians - Manassas, Virginia & Garner, North Carolina

Service Technicians will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Ditch Witch equipment, including trenchers, drills, and vacuum excavators, while performing routine maintenance and preventative services. This role requires the ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and inspect hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure equipment functionality. The Service Technician will document service work, communicate with customers and team members, and follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Success in this role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities: 
•  Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Ditch Witch equipment, including trenchers, drills, vacuum excavators, and other machinery.
•  Perform routine maintenance and preventative services on equipment.
•  Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functionality before and after repairs.
•  Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to perform repairs accurately.
•  Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
•  Document service work, including parts used and labor hours, in company systems.
•  Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
•  Communicate with customers and team members regarding service updates, equipment condition, and recommendations.
•  Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on equipment.
•  Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on new equipment, technology, and service techniques.
